【1】Project Background
With the rapid development of social economy and the acceleration of urbanization, the situation of urban residents' closed families and aging population has become increasingly prominent. Based on people's emotional sustenance and leisure consumption needs, China's pet industry has also quietly emerged. The raising of family pets has become a new way of life and entertainment for urban residents. The feeding and care of pets are often the most concerned issues of pet owners. At present, pets mainly rely on artificial feeding. However, in today's society, people's work and study are very busy, and when people go out for a long time, there are relatively big problems in the supply of food and water for pets. In response to this market demand, I designed this pet automatic feeder.
【2】Summary of Design Requirements
The functions that the entire system needs to implement are as follows:
Make a pet feeder based on STM32, which can be used to mainly raise pets such as birds or yellow ducks.
The main functions of the system are as follows:
(1) Display function:
The LCD display circuit displays the current food balance, water temperature and timing feeding time.
(2) Voice function:
When the timer reaches the scheduled feeding time, the speaker will automatically play the pre-recorded voice of the owner to call the pet to eat.
(3) Timing function:
Users can automatically feed their pets at regular intervals according to their pet's eating habits.
(4) Feeding function:
When the scheduled feeding time is reached, the stepper motor rotates at a preset angle to release the food, and the user can also manually press the feeding button to put down the food according to their own needs.
(5) Remote feeding function:
Connect to the Tencent Cloud IoT server through ESP8266, and then design a small program and mobile APP, which can be remotely controlled for feeding and can change the timing.
The feature of remote pet feeding is. In order to make it easier for everyone to travel and go home on holidays, they can also feed pets on their mobile phones, understand the water temperature of pets, and how much food they eat to judge whether they are healthy.
