2HKUST and Wisers jointly launched Hong Kong's first forward-looking tourism index. The index adopts a prediction model that analyzes the intention of mainland tourists to visit Hong Kong. The relevant model is constructed by cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies such as natural language processing and machine learning. It can analyze more than 10 million pieces of data from social media platforms, online travel agencies and travel forums in the mainland to predict Changes in the main data of the tourism industry. 5. The team of Professor Kuang Yi from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology successfully achieved efficient in situ cell purification. The team successfully integrated mRNA switch and enzyme-controlled polypeptide self-assembly technology, and developed a new efficient in situ purification technology for target cells. This innovative technology can significantly improve the purity of target cells without affecting cell growth, providing high-quality cell sources for various biomedical applications. Related papers were recently published in Angewandte Chemie International Edition.
