Of course, this part is very simple, but with the current technology, it is impossible to directly compare whether the videos are the same or very similar, unless it is manually checked. So comparing the similarity of two videos is actually a comparison of pictures.
The platform will extract a few frames from the first few seconds of the video, then extract a few frames from the end of the video, and then extract a few frames in the middle for comparison. If the screen changes are small, then the comparison of the pictures is basically the same.

Knowing the principle of deduplication, it is relatively simple to achieve deduplication. Let’s talk about how to deduplication in detail below. Different types of videos have slightly different deduplication methods.
Nine deduplication methods can be used in combination:
1. Trimming: Change the size and proportion of the original video by trimming.
This is relatively simple. In fact, many watermark removal methods can also be used in this way, especially for videos with watermarks on the corners. If I only edit and publish, I can directly use the editing tool that comes with the phone, which is also very convenient.
2. Watermark: Remove the watermark of the original video, and then add the exclusive watermark of your own account.

3. Opening and ending, transitions, special effects: Don’t be the same as the original video, cut the beginning and end first, and then use post-editing software to make the opening and ending. It doesn’t need to be too long, just a few seconds.

4. Mirror image: Use the mirror image function to change the screen

The most common way to change the screen is to switch between horizontal and vertical screens by inserting background colors, background images, blurred edges, or screen overlay effects.
