Facing the ever-increasing number of users and concurrency in the 5G era, the CRM&BOSS system, as the core business system of Shandong Mobile, needs to process more than 13 billion pieces of various detailed data every day. Data processing performance and accuracy are crucial. Traditional centralized databases can no longer cope with this demand, and the upgrade and transformation to distributed databases is imminent.
In response to the needs of the core business of the telecommunications industry, the project team deeply analyzed the characteristics of the original business architecture, and assessed in detail the pain points of the intensive architecture, which are outdated, difficult to replace, and unable to meet the needs of future business development.
In the end, based on the above requirements, the Shandong Mobile project team chose the GoldenDB distributed database within the centralized procurement framework, which realized linear expansion of performance capacity and an active-active architecture in the same city, ensuring high performance and high reliability of the business system, with system reliability exceeding 99.9999%. At the same time, it establishes cluster unified operation and maintenance management, customizes switching strategies, and realizes high reliability of the system in the event of component-level failures, equipment room-level failures, and city-level failures, and performs a series of improvements in customer contact links to optimize customer experience.
Fast and high-quality completion of core system transformation
Small modification, good performance, fast launch! The GoldenDB project team not only achieved the rapid launch of the core system in the first prefecture and city within 6 months, but also took only 21 days from deployment, testing to launch in subsequent prefectures and cities.
The GoldenDB distributed database adopts the same-city dual-center architecture, which realizes linear expansion of performance and capacity, effectively meeting the needs of Shandong Mobile's business for high availability and high reliability of data. The execution efficiency of key indicators SQL statements is generally better than that of the original system, and the performance has been significantly improved; through Innovative synchronization technology ensures high-performance synchronization across computer rooms, and controls RTO at the second level on the basis of RPO of 0; by adopting a unified operation and maintenance management platform, the operation and maintenance efficiency is improved.
The project also has good economic benefits. By using the GoldenDB distributed system replacement, Shandong Mobile not only reduces the cost of application transformation, but also realizes the replacement of the original server, saving tens of millions of business development and customization costs, hardware and maintenance costs as a whole.
