Directly uninstalling applications in the Mac system method will leave associated files such as preset files, cache files, and Dock icons. Although these junk files are harmless to the system, they stealthily occupy the user's disk space. Generally, you can manually clean up these application residues with operating instructions, or you can use the third-party software CleanMyMac X to clean up associated files.
1. Clean up application residual file instructions
Click the left mouse button on the computer desktop, use the key combination "Command+Shift+G" to call out "Go to Folder", copy and paste the following command code, and click to enter the corresponding folder to clear this type of program file.

2) Preferences folder: "~/Library/Preferences/(Application)"
3) Program cache folder: "~/Library/Caches/(application)"
