How to update IntelliJ IDEA to the latest version directly in the software
Sometimes the IDEA tool has not been updated for a long time, and several versions have been dragged. At this time, we want to update across major versions, such as from 2020.2.1 -> 2022.3.1 At this time, when we click
Help -> Check for Updates... in the menu bar , the suggested update may not be the latest version we want, for example, the checked out version is 2020.2.2, and it cannot be directly upgraded to the latest version.
At this point, you can click on the upgrade page and click Ignore this update to ignore this version.
Then repeat the Help -> Check for Updates... operation until the latest version is scanned, and then click Update and Restart to update.
