Solve the problem that there is no virtual network card after VMware installation is complete

Problem Description

Windows 10 installs VMware for the first time. After the installation is complete, the two virtual network cards (VMnet1 and VMnet8) as shown in the figure below do not appear.

 Inspection position

Where can I check the virtual network card?

①Windows Start-Settings-Status-Change Adapter Options in the lower left corner of the computer

 ②Folder-Right-click Network-Properties-Change Adapter Options

③ Control Panel - Network and Sharing Center - Change Adapter Options

solution

1. Windows+R to bring up the running window, enter services.msc; find the two as shown in the figure below, right-click to change the startup type to automatic, and restart.

2. Open VMware Workstation, select "Edit" - "Virtual Network Editor"; click "Change Settings"; check "Connect the host virtual adapter to this network" for both VMnet1 and VMnet8.

3. If the above operations cannot solve the problem, it should be the residual effect of VM uninstallation in the computer, and it is necessary to uninstall the software in the correct way and then reinstall it.
