For batch management of material master data, once batch management is set for a material and business data has been generated, but it is found that the business master data was wrong at the beginning, this material does not need to be batch managed in the SAP system , is it impossible? How about canceling its batch management, because it is very troublesome to cancel this batch management, but in actual business, this problem may really happen, so what should we do? Next, I will introduce the method of canceling the batch management of material master data, and start our verification step by step.
step:
1. Process all outstanding documents
2. Empty pawn inventory and previous inventory
3. Delete and archive the existing batch MM74
4. MM02 delete batch management logo
This is an error when canceling batch management
Prompt batch already exists
1. View batch inventory data MMBE
The transaction code for batch archiving is MM74 , and the path is: Logistics- > Material Management- > Material Master Data- > Others- > Archive- > Special Stock / Batch- > Archive / Delete
The system adopts the background job form for the batch archiving operation, so it is first necessary to define an archiving background job variant . Define the variant name here: ZBATCHDEL
To maintain the variant, click the "Maintenance " button next to it, and then the change screen assignment interface will pop up, we select " For all selection screens "
Perform variable parameter maintenance , see the figure below
Click "Attributes" , enter the name ZBATCHDEL, save
After the variant maintenance is OK , go back and click the start date,
To maintain the start date, we choose to execute it immediately.
Then maintain the spool parameter spoolparams. Maintain local printing
After the above information is maintained and OK , the status should be as shown in the figure below, and then click Execute. (Note: For the variants, you can test and run first, and then modify the variants for formal operation)
operation result:
If we use MSC3N to view this batch, we will find that the batch still exists in the system. In fact, this is because we only completed the archiving operation and did not delete the batch in the system, so the batch still exists. Select " Database Table " on the main interface of the archive , and maintain the table information that needs to be deleted in this batch. Here, it is recommended to use the system default table object MM_SPSTOCK
Click on the database table, as shown below
Click " Archive Management "
We choose " Delete "
Select the archived data to be deleted, click " Archive Selection " , and select the file to be deleted in the pop-up dialog box. This file is a background job that we have successfully run before , as shown in the figure below
This still chooses to execute immediately
then execute
Now that the batch has been deleted, we need to cancel the batch management of the material master data to achieve our goal.
MM02-- Modify the material master data, tick √ and cancel the " batch management " , and then save it.
