1. Pen tool

 

 

1. It is used to draw a fine selection area, which can achieve precise matting, draw straight lines or curves

2. How to use:

(1) Draw a straight line: click the mouse to draw, a straight line is formed between two points, hold down SHIFT to draw an angled line

(2) Draw a curve: click the mouse to add an anchor point, and drag the mouse to draw the arc without the left mouse button

3. Open path

(1) Press ESC to end drawing

(2) Hold down the CTRL key without letting go, and click the blank place with the left mouse button

(3) When you want to continue drawing, click directly on the head or tail of the path to draw

4. Closed path:

When drawing a path, the last point returns to the starting point. If the position is correct, a small circle will appear next to the pen arrow. Click to close the path

5. The method of path forming constituency

(1) Shortcut key CTRL+ENTER to create a selection

(2) In the attribute bar, find the word "selection area" and click it

(3) Right-click the blank space to create a selection area

(4) Convert the selection to a path: at the bottom of the path panel, the 4th button from left to right

6. How to delete the path

(1) CTRL+Z to withdraw to the previous step

(2) Back key or DEL key can delete the path, two clicks will delete the entire path

7. The function of the ALT key

(1) Hold down the ALT key and click the first anchor point, you can cancel the small handle on one side alone, which is equivalent to disconnecting the connection between the two small handles

(2) After disconnecting the connection between the two joysticks, if you want to be controlled together again, you can hold down the ALT key + left key and drag the anchor point to generate a new control handle.

(3) Find the conversion point tool in the toolbar, and drag the anchor point with the left mouse button to connect the small handles together again

(4) Press and hold the ALT key to change the direction of the small handle , which is used to control the drawing direction of the next path.

8. The role of the Ctrl key

(1) You can temporarily switch the direct selection tool (small white tool: move anchor points and line segments)

9. Property bar: Add/remove anchor points automatically

(1) Check the automatic add/delete, click directly on the path to add anchor points or delete anchor points (checked by default)

(2) Uncheck Automatically add/delete, switch tools in the toolbar (add anchor point tool or delete anchor point tool)

10. Save path

Click the path panel on the right, double-click the working path layer, click OK to save the path, save the source file, open the source file again, and double-click the working path layer to perform secondary drawing.
