After graduating and working on weak electricity for 3 months, why did I choose to switch to a network engineer

Ask Zhengfu the way before, hate the dawn of dawn. —— Tao Yuanming

When I just graduated, I went to a company with weak electricity to do related technical support work. Why work for a weak current company? Because I heard from the teacher that doing system integration is very helpful for improving technology. And what about this weak electricity company? It is indeed a system integration company, so I went to work here.

At that time, I was just a student after all, and I didn't know much about the whole industry, and I didn't understand that system integration was divided into different types. For system integrators, it is divided into levels 1 to 4. Among them, level 1 can indeed do some big projects, which is very helpful for improving technology and knowledge. When I first graduated, I had no technology or experience, and I couldn't find such a good integrator, so I went to a level 4 integrator.

In this level 4 integrator, my job is to install the camera and the speaker every day. To put it bluntly, I do some physical work every day, such as climbing a ladder to install a camera, carrying a tool kit for electric hammer and electric drill, etc. I have done this physical work for 3 months, and my technology has hardly grown. The improvement of speakers, large-screen LEDs, and billboards is more of my strength. And I want to improve my technology. I want to turn it from the manual work of installing cameras to the work of adjusting equipment.

How to adjust the equipment, how to turn to this kind of work? At the suggestion of my friend, I am going to teach myself network technology.

Self-study and self-study, the most difficult thing is the direction of learning. At the beginning, I feel that I have nowhere to use it. I am here to share my method, go to the Internet to search for network engineer recruitment information, and learn in this direction if there are any technical requirements in the recruitment information. At that time, I learned about Huawei certification in the requirements of network engineers, and used it as a learning direction. There are three levels of Huawei certification: IA, IP, and IE. I originally wanted to learn IE, but the cost of IE learning is too high. My current goal is to find a job as a network engineer who adjusts equipment, so I plan to learn IP first.

After several months of study, I successfully learned IP. With the blessing of certificates and technology, I completed the transformation, from the previous work of physical labor to a job specialized in debugging equipment, that is, from weak electricity to professional network work. At the end of the article, I share some materials compiled in my previous work and study, as a benefit for friends who can see here, including common network troubleshooting method documents, common router switch configuration videos, and network engineering information packages.

Friends who need to get this internet worker information package can directly like + follow and private message (learn) to get it!

write at the end

It's not far away from the real lost road, and I feel that today is right but yesterday was wrong. The weak current work in an integrator can't be said to be lost, but for me personally, working in network technology, debugging network equipment instead of manual work like installing cameras, it really makes me feel "feeling that today is but yesterday" No". If you also have such plans, I hope my experience can give you some help in changing careers.
