There are five groups in this year's competition, which are innovation scheme group, formula design group, raw material innovation group, visual design group, and marketing group. Through multiple channels such as social solicitation and targeted invitations, relevant universities and enterprises in the cosmetics industry are solicited to participate. The preparatory period is from May to September, the registration platform is open from September to October, the preliminary competition is held from October to November to determine the participating teams and works entering the final, the final is held from November to December, and the award ceremony is held in December or January. The five groups select the first prize, second prize, third prize and excellence award respectively. Individual awards include creativity award and popularity award, and institutional awards include excellent instructor award and excellent organization award.

It is reported that a total of 305 teams from 35 colleges and universities signed up for the first competition, which has been widely recognized and praised by the industry in terms of promoting environmental protection and sustainable development and green cosmetics innovation and creativity, and has produced good social influence.
