This year I learned Java naked, it's really curly and fragrant

I was lucky to get out of a painful job, and even luckier, because of the dark horse, I entered a better industry.

Painful at work, determined to change careers

In the middle of the year, the task that the former department leader first promised that the project would be completed by a professor from a certain university fell on my head. This task made me struggle with pain every day.

The money is collected by the professor, and the work is done by me. This kind of mood is like Benbo Erba in "Journey to the West" who was asked by the Nine-Headed Insect to kill Tang Monk and his apprentice.

How can my assistant engineer with a monthly salary of only a few k be able to do such a difficult job? Moreover, facing a bunch of incomprehensible theories and super difficult software at work every day, the leader still comes to cue the progress from time to time.

Although there was technical support and guidance later, my dislike for my current job continued unabated, and finally I was so painful that I didn't even want to go to work.

In the struggle and pain, I began to look for new job opportunities, but the industry and professional limitations made it basically impossible for me to find a second job in this major. So I considered changing careers and wanted to enter the IT industry that I had wanted since high school. But every time I talk to my family, I say that the state-owned enterprises are stable, the benefits are good, and you need to learn in the IT industry and don't leave easily.

Later, I admitted that my ability to bear was too limited. After struggling for more than two months, I finally couldn’t bear my distaste for work. I successfully persuaded my family and submitted a resignation application by saying that the current industry’s prospects are poor and the IT industry will become more and more popular in the future .

When I completed the work handover and resignation procedures, I was extremely relaxed, but I also laughed at myself, blaming myself for not being capable enough. If I was more capable and could do all the things arranged well, there would not be so many things. But whatever, it's over. Don't regret the past, and I also believe that my choice will be correct.

Get to know the dark horse, embrace Java

After resigning, I returned to Chengdu and transferred to IT. I must enroll in a class to study. My roommate (a big guy who changed careers and joined JD.com for three years) strongly recommended me "Dark Horse Programmer" .

To be honest, I was moved when I heard the semi-military management. I have always felt that I am a lazy person with weak self-control. If I am not well managed, I will only spend two days fishing and three days surfing the Internet while studying IT. After finding the consulting teacher of Dark Horse and understanding the syllabus, he decisively signed up for the Java course. Started a half-year Java course study.

It is really a semi-military management. Mobile phones are confiscated before class. If you are late, you will be interviewed by the homeroom teacher. If you fall asleep in class, you will be woken up.

Because it is a foreign major, when I started learning Java, I always encountered a lot of difficult knowledge points. In addition, after paying the tuition fee, I still need to pay social security, repay the mortgage, pay the rent, and eat every month. I feel a lot of pressure, and I tend to think too much.

Once when I asked the teacher a question on QQ, I showed obvious denial of myself. The teacher immediately sent a QQ voice over, explaining the question to me, and patiently enlightening me. He told me to master the method of learning. The things I can't understand are largely because the previous knowledge is not firmly grasped, and the basic knowledge is not enough, which will seriously affect the comprehension of the follow-up courses. Go back and review, and then you can understand after studying.

After doing it according to the teacher's method, I really figured out the knowledge points that I haven't understood for a long time. And this is also the only way for me to follow up with other content in the Java course. When I encounter something I don’t understand, I can ask the teacher, and at the same time review the previous content, and learn them together. Basically, I can understand it.

With a good learning method, the subsequent learning process became easier and easier. I gradually built up my confidence and fell in love with the Java course, so I kept studying until the end. After graduation, after more than ten days of preparation, I was lucky enough to get an offer with a good salary after the first interview, and became a Java development engineer. I was very happy at that time.

New industry, new job, new life

At this moment, it is the second month after changing careers. I have basically adapted to the new job in the new industry. The company has a good atmosphere and the colleagues are very easy to get along with. Although sometimes there is a little work pressure, I basically work overtime, check the information, and ask my colleagues if it doesn’t work. I can successfully complete the work tasks.

Thinking back to a year ago, people are in two completely different states. I struggled at work every day before, but now I have solved a bug and implemented a function, and I feel a sense of satisfaction. In the future, we must work hard, work hard, and live an optimistic life.

Finally, I would like to thank Dark Horse for creating a good learning environment, the super-responsible class teacher, and the professional teachers who gave me learning methods and professional knowledge. The successful career change is inseparable from your hard work, thank you!
