Mac memo content suddenly disappeared and recovered

The memo was released by accident. It’s a simple one. I saw various data recovery software below, and various logins to iCloud. If my memory is stored in iCloud, it’s true.

I summed it up and found that it is actually very simple:

1. Open Finder, press Cmd, Shift, G keys (or go to the upper left corner of the screen and click "Go" > "Go to Folder").

2. Copy the following paragraph into the pop-up box and press Enter

~/Library/Containers/com.apple.notes/Data/Library/Notes/

3. Right-click to select the NotesV7.storedata-wal file and open it with memo to restore the original memo

So the original memo can come back!

If it is useful to you, you can give it a thumbs up!

I use the recovery to no avail, it prompts to update the memo

Then use the above method to change it to html, it shows that the import failed, but in fact it succeeds and then it’s ok
