Since 2019, the National Artificial Intelligence Competition has been held for three consecutive years. The level of the competition has been rising year by year. It has attracted more than 10,000 teams from more than 20 countries at home and abroad to participate in the competition. The contestants cover many well-known enterprises, colleges and scientific research institutions. It has become a top-level competition in the field of artificial intelligence in terms of participation scale and influence.
The competition is based on an international perspective, combined with the scientific research direction of Pengcheng Laboratory and the frontier problems of the industry, actively promotes research and attracts talents through competitions, effectively promotes research in AI wireless communication, AI video visual processing, digital retina, ReID and other fields, and successfully builds 5 million-level data sets that can be used for scientific research in the laboratory, effectively promoting the development and application of Pengcheng Cloud Brain Ecology . As a linking platform for leading technology companies, universities and scientific research institutes, the competition has achieved remarkable results in promoting the integration of industry, education and research and the implementation of multiple achievements. This year's competition set up three competition topics: " AI+Visual Feature Coding ", " AI+ Wireless Communication " and " AI+Video Quality Evaluation ", and released challenging competition topics for technical talents and innovative teams in the fields of artificial intelligence, communication, intelligent vision, industrial Internet, big data applications, etc., requiring contestants to process data around clear needs and specific scenarios, build algorithm models with innovative ideas, advanced technology and wide application capabilities, and form solutions.
Among them, the " AI+Visual Feature Coding " competition starts with typical machine vision tasks, aims at multi-tasking human vision and machine vision, improves task accuracy, investigates the comprehensive performance of data compression and visual analysis, and is close to the practical application of AI.

On April 27, 2023, the launching ceremony will be held, the questions of the preliminary competition will be released, and the registration will be officially launched;
On May 8, 2023 (12:00:00), the data of the preliminary competition (including the test set of the first stage A list of the preliminary competition) will be released;
From May 8th (12:00:00) to June 30th (12:00:00), 2023, the first stage of the preliminary round of the competition will be the A list evaluation, and the evaluation results can be submitted online to participate in the ranking. It can be submitted 3 times a day, and the score will be evaluated in real time;
On June 30, 2023 (12:00:00) , the registration channel will be closed, the first stage A list of the preliminary competition will be closed and the test set of the first stage B list of the preliminary competition will be released;
From July 1st (00:00:00) to July 2nd (23:59:59), 2023, the B-ranking evaluation of the first stage of the preliminary competition can be submitted online to participate in the ranking. You can submit multiple times a day, but only the last submission will be evaluated, and the score will be evaluated at 12:00 that night;
On July 3, 2023 (12:00:00), the promotion qualification review, the top 200 teams in the first stage of the preliminary competition will enter the second stage of the preliminary competition;
From July 4th (00:00:00) to July 10th (23:59:59), 2023, the second stage of the preliminary competition evaluation, the evaluation results can be submitted online to participate in the ranking;
From July 11th to July 16th, 2023, the promotion qualification review, after each question is reviewed, the top 100 teams will advance to the semi-finals;
On July 17, 2023 (12:00:00), the list for the semi-finals will be announced.
Quarter-finals

On July 17, 2023 (12:00:00), the rematch data (including the rematch test set) will be released;
From July 17 (12:00:00) to August 18 (23:59:59), 2023, during the evaluation stage of the semi-finals of the competition, the evaluation results can be submitted online to participate in the ranking. It can be submitted 3 times a day, and the score will be evaluated in real time;
From August 19th to September 5th, 2023, the qualification review will be held, and the top 10 teams will advance to the final after each question is reviewed.
final stage
September 15th - September 20th
In the offline competition of the core line, the contestants in the final stage will conduct offline centralized development. The final score is composed of the development achievement score and the defense review score. Ranking and awarding will be made according to the final score.
Note: During the semi-finals and finals, Pengcheng Cloud Brain II will provide computing power support to ensure competition tasks such as algorithm debugging, model training, and model evaluation.
