The traditional vehicle communication architecture with ECU as the unit is a signal-oriented classic communication mode represented by buses such as CAN/LIN. The new service-oriented communication mode of SOA, which uses vehicle Ethernet as the bus and SOME/IP or DDS as the middleware, is more and more used in the vehicle communication architecture with domain control as the unit.
CANoe provides a unified cross-network communication concept as a simulation and test environment. This communication concept supports application-dependent modeling of classic and new communication patterns. The communication concept provides a consistent decoupling of application layer logic communication from network layer protocols
