The 5.0 Bluetooth module helps the Internet of Vehicles to achieve simple and safe connection-vehicle Bluetooth module SKB501 reference design

Vehicle-mounted electronic systems are developing in the direction of intelligence, informatization and networking, and wireless communication technology has broad application prospects in mobile systems such as automobiles. The Internet of Vehicles can realize seamless and fast connection with various devices through Bluetooth technology. In response to this part of the application requirements, SKYLAB developed and launched the 5.0 Bluetooth module SKB501. This module complies with the latest Bluetooth 5.0 specification and has passed the global radio frequency certification. Bring Bluetooth Low Energy Internet of Things (IoT) designs to market in the shortest possible time.

SKB501 Features

SKB501 is a highly integrated Bluetooth 5.0 low-power module developed by SKYLAB based on the Nordic 52840 solution. It is specially designed for wireless 2.4GHz ISM high-speed transmission, supports one master and multiple slave modes, and realizes information interaction between multiple devices. The Bluetooth 5.0 (BLE) module SKB501 can transmit the data collected by the car's internal sensors to the ECU, and upgrade the car's Bluetooth connection function, and transmit the car's diagnostic results through the BLE connection, such as tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and power and fuel level monitoring system to better integrate with smart mobile devices.

After upgrading the Bluetooth connection function, the user can control many functions through the smartphone, such as unlocking the car, remotely sharing the key with friends or family members, personalizing the seat position and temperature and infotainment settings, controlling the interior and exterior lighting of the vehicle, etc.
