U disk file or directory is damaged and cannot be read

When using the u disk, it was found that it could not be used. It was still available on my computer just now, but the owner of the print shop said it couldn’t be opened. What’s the specific reason, I can only haha!

U disk prompt: unable to access, file or directory is damaged and cannot be read. After trying many methods, I finally succeeded in solving and fixing this problem.

1. Insert the U disk to be repaired, open "My Computer", and find the drive letter where the SD card or U disk is located.

As shown in the picture below: When it cannot be read, the e-disk cannot be displayed normally. I forgot to take a screenshot. This is the picture after I repaired it!

2. Open the "Run" window (you can directly press "Windows+R" to open it quickly), enter "CMD" and click the "OK" button to enter the command prompt interface.

3. From the opened "Command Prompt" window, enter "chkdsk e: /f" and press Enter to perform the repair operation.

Among them, "e:" indicates the drive letter of the SD card or U disk (lower case is acceptable).

 4. After the repair of the U disk is completed, you can open "My Computer" again, and you will find that the capacity of the U disk can be displayed normally. This indicates that the repair of the U disk is successful!
