5 月 17 日，2023 阿里云峰会·常州站上，阿里云正式发布第八代企业级计算实例 g8a 以及性能增强性实例 g8ae。两款实例搭载第四代 AMD EPYC 处理器，标配阿里云 eRDMA 大规模加速能力，网络延时低至 8 微秒。其中，g8a 综合性价比平均提升 15% 以上，g8ae 算力最高提升 55%，在 AI 推理与训练、深度学习、高性能数据库等应用场景性能提升显著。
作为企业级实例，搭载第四代 AMD EPYC（霄龙）处理器的 g8a 和 g8ae 两款实例，得益于阿里云自研的“飞天+CIPU”架构，在计算、存储、网络、安全等领域的能力全面提升，在云上提供稳定、强劲、安全的算力，助力用户在云上加速业务创新。
- 网络方面，标配阿里云 eRDMA 大规模加速能力，网络延时最低 8 微秒，极大提升用户业务集群之间的网络访问性能。

The eighth-generation enterprise-level performance-enhanced instance g8ae has a single-core turbo frequency of 3.75GHz, and its single-core performance has increased by more than 55% compared with the previous generation g7a instance.
