Day2: "Linux should be learned like this" study notes

Powerful and easy-to-use SHELL:

Generally speaking, computer hardware is composed of computing units, controllers, memory, input/output devices, etc., and the thing that allows various hardware devices to perform their duties and work together is the system kernel. The kernel of the Linux system is responsible for completing management tasks such as allocation and scheduling of hardware resources. It can be seen that the system kernel is too important for the normal operation of the computer, so it is generally not recommended to directly edit the parameters in the kernel, but let the user manage the computer through the program or service developed based on the system call interface, so as to Meet the needs of daily work, as shown in Figure 2-1.

It must be affirmed that some graphical tools in the Linux system (such as Logical Volume Manager [Logical Volume Manager, LVM]) are really easy to use, which greatly reduces the probability of operation and maintenance personnel making mistakes, which is commendable. However, many graphical tools actually call scripts to complete the corresponding work, and are often only designed to complete certain tasks, lacking the original flexibility and controllability of Linux commands. Furthermore, graphical tools consume more system resources than the Linux command line interface, so experienced operation and maintenance personnel will not even install a graphical interface for the Linux system, and directly connect remotely through the command line mode when starting operation and maintenance work In the past, I have to say that doing so was really efficient.
