Database essential skills: How Navicat uses Excel to build tables and import data

foreword

This time a new mission has been dispatched, which is to connect with a state-owned enterprise. For state-owned enterprises, they all know that the data is relatively confidential, so they directly gave me an Excel with some data in it. I thought about how troublesome it is to input each one by hand. Just a few days ago, I heard from a friend that navicat has the function of importing data from Excel. I tried it and it is indeed very powerful. Record the specific usage method, and you can take a look if you need it.

step

Select the table and right click -> Import Wizard:

You can choose to create multiple at once:

In general, the default is fine:

if it is not a new table, just select an existing table:

Here you can select the corresponding table to set, remember to add a primary key to the ID, and modify the type. Because this is judged by the system itself based on the data and name, it is not accurate. It must be changed here, especially the orcale table, otherwise if there is data, some types cannot be modified unless the data is cleared.

This step is selected according to everyone's needs:

the latter is directly completed. There are so many steps and attention points in general, and more details will be updated.

It's not easy to create, if you feel good, please give a thumbs up! I'm Laobai, see you next time!
