The update icon in the upper right corner of the Chrome browser really annoys me, it is an eyesore, and sometimes a pop-up box pops up to let you update. Presumably some students want to turn off this annoying prompt in the upper right corner like me, so here comes the operation:
Right-click the Chrome browser icon to open the panel, and select Properties to open. Add after the location address of the target red box in the figure below:
-disable-background-networking Note: - is in English, and a space is required in front of it.
