What is information? :
Information refers to the objects transmitted and processed by audio, news, and communication systems, and generally refers to all content communicated by human society.
Knowledge derived from study, experience or instruction;
A collection of facts or data;
The act of informing or the condition of being informed; communication of knowledge
Shannon defined information as: Information is something used to eliminate random uncertainty .
Two properties :
uncertainty (uncertainty)
randomness (randomness)
The greater the randomness of an event, the greater the amount of information it contains.
Relationship between information, message, signal
Information is contained in the message, which is the essence.
Messages are the outer, manifestations of information.
The signal is the carrier of the message. In the channel, for the convenience of transmission, the message is converted into a signal for transmission.
