JetBrains announced that all IntelliJ-based IDEs and .NET tools will integrate a new feature: AI Assistant (AI Assistant), and said that it will be integrated into the core workflow of the IDE, especially the strength of JetBrains IDE - the combination of code understanding and AI deep integration.
According to reports, these AI functions are powered by JetBrains AI services. The service connects different Large Language Models (LLMs) and enables specific AI-driven features in JetBrains products. The service also supports OpenAI. In the future, JetBrains plans to cooperate with more AI model suppliers so that users can obtain the best options and models.
Additionally, JetBrains plans to support native (including locally deployable) models, although for these models they support a limited feature set.
