After Android Studio is upgraded to Android Studio Flamingo, logcat does not have a log level filter drop-down box.
The new version of Logcat feels awkward to use, and there is no drop-down box for log filtering in the old version as shown in the figure below.
Solution: File->Settings->Experimental, uncheck "Enable new locat tool window", restart Android Studio.
