How to use Auto-GPT

Auto-GPT is an open-source project on GitHub that facilitates communication between different GPTs, enabling agents to operate autonomously and complete tasks with minimal or no human intervention.

Unlike the ChatGPT we normally use, where we submit one prompt at a time and receive a response before moving on to the next prompt, Auto-GPT operates differently. When given a task, it uses a combination of hints to perform the task.

What does Auto-GPT do?

To provide a clearer perspective, let us consider the scenario of organizing a birthday party for a child. With Auto-GPT, you can simply specify your requirements, such as the number of attendees (50 adults and children) and the distance from your location (within 5 km), and it will generate a task list accordingly.

Auto-GPT will then search for suitable places for children nearby, create a schedule, set a budget, and even generate checklists to simplify the planning process. Its goal is to complete all tasks in the list, adding new tasks as each one is completed.

In short, Auto-GPT takes care of all the details involved in event planning, allowing you to view and act on the given information.

The current state of AI goes beyond simple question-and-answer prompts, as it now has the ability to handle complex tasks and adjust its to-do list based on previous interactions.

We have reached the stage where AI can be likened to a personal assistant, capable of managing complex tasks and ensuring their successful completion.
