1. Types of Bar chart
Type 1: Show data changes over a period of time
Type 1 writing: almost the same as a line chart
Type 2: Display data changes of different items
Note: The timeline of the line chart cannot be used as a comparison, and two columns (Bars) should be compared, such as ShopA and ShopB's Laptop, ShopA's Laptop and Mobile
Type 2 writing:
(1) summary: make a very general (summary) comparison
ep. ShopA's Mobile is the highest, and ShopB's four products sell about the same. This paragraph does not require specific data
(2) details: specific comparison
ep. Compare the Laptop of ShopA and ShopB, the Mobile with the most ShopA and the PC with the highest ShopB
2. Bar Chart Question
Generally divided into four parts, each part writes a paragraph
4 paragraphs:
- Introduction (rewrite the title)
- Overview (description of important points)
- Details (specific)
- Details (Supplementary)
3. Examples of Simon's writing:
The first paragraph of Bar Chart writing ideas
(Introduction): Rewrite the title
and replace the given title with synonyms without changing the meaning of the title
The second paragraph (Overview): Write 2 important points and describe them in two sentences
. For example: the highest point or the lowest point, a certain change trend (up or down)
The third paragraph (Details): comparison and change
Find two sets of special Bars to compare and describe changes
The fourth paragraph (Details): Supplement
Supplements that are not written in the third paragraph. Compare first, then change
