Professor Lei Dingming, Honorary University Fellow, Emeritus Professor, Adjunct Professor of the Department of Economics, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Bachelor of Economics from the University of Chicago, Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Minnesota, Justice of the Peace in Hong Kong SAR, winner of the Bronze Bauhinia Star. Visiting researcher at the Center for China and the World Economy, Tsinghua University. He used to be the deputy dean of the Business School of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the director of the Economic Development Research Center, a member of the University Academic Affairs Committee, a member of the University Advisory Committee, a visiting professor of the China Economic Research Center of Peking University, and a member of the American teaching team of the National Training Center for Industrial Technology Management of Dalian Institute of Technology.
