foreword
When encountering a network that can only access the Internet through binding IP address and MAC address authentication at work, it is necessary to modify the specified IP address and MAC address. It is relatively simple to modify the IP address, but the MAC address does not seem to have been changed before, so I will briefly record it.
Modify MAC address
First open Settings and find Network and Internet Options
Find and select the option to change the adapter
Find the network card whose MAC address needs to be modified, right-click to open the properties, click the
configuration option
to find the advanced options page, modify the network address property to the value you want to set,
and click OK to restart the network card. At this time, the MAC has been completed. Change of address
Verify whether the MAC address has been modified
Open the command window and enter the following command to view the network card information
ipconfig /all
You can see that the MAC address has been successfully modified.
You can also see that the sent data packet has been changed to the modified MAC address by capturing packets through wireshark.
