Industries such as plastic molding, food processing and construction materials all rely on bulk materials. As these industries move closer to just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing, the ability to generate accurate, reliable and repeatable level measurements becomes increasingly important. Laser ranging sensors are required to measure over longer distances than ever before, using non-contact methods for measurements on a variety of materials.
Part.02 Solution
Hongke Dimetix laser distance sensor can accurately measure up to 500m to the natural target without contact with the measured material . The reliability and repeatability of laser measurements is also independent of color and material – a surface composed of white plastic particles is just as accurate as a surface composed of dry or wet gravel. Even translucent plastic resin particles reflect enough light back to the sensor for accurate, reliable measurements.
