Excel compares whether the same column content of two tables is consistent

background

I encountered this situation in my work. The two tables are the same, but the data in one of the columns may have been changed. Now compare the content of the same column in the two tables to see what changes caused the inconsistency.

comparison method

1- Copy the column data to be compared in the two tables to the same table, as shown below

2- Select all the data to be compared in the left column, then hold down the ctrl key, and then select the data to be compared on the right

3- Use the shortcut keys ctrl + G, and select [location criteria] in the pop-up window

4- On the [Location Conditions] page, select [Row content difference cell], and then click [OK]

5- After clicking OK, the page is as follows:

6- If you feel that the color contrast is not obvious enough and it looks inconvenient, you can directly select the fill color above and choose a color with obvious contrast.

7- The above is the process of comparison, complete.
