"Talking about New Industry" From Made in China to Smart Made in China, what is the difference?

Made in China has not only been a word since its development, but also the embodiment of China's manufacturing power.

Since 2010, the scale of my country's manufacturing industry has ranked first in the world for 11 consecutive years. It is the cornerstone of my country's economic development and has become an important part of global economic growth.

In recent years, "Made in China" has been transforming into "Smart Manufacturing in China", and unmanned factories, unmanned farms, and unmanned ports are constantly emerging. However, although the manufacturing industry has gone through a series of evolutionary processes from assembly to manufacturing, from manufacturing to innovation, no matter from the technical level, enterprise level, or industrial chain level, it is far from the real Chinese intelligent manufacturing. There is still a long way to go.

In this issue of "New Industry Insights" and "Changsha High-tech Zone High-Growth Enterprise Ladder Cultivation Plan", senior industry insiders are invited to discuss the topic "From Made in China to Made in China, what is the difference?". What do you think?

Zhu Dan, Chairman of Hunan Zhongfei Times:

1. In terms of supply chain: it is incomplete and needs to be reshaped.

Despite the difficult process from imitation, assembly, manufacturing to innovation, China's manufacturing to China's intelligent manufacturing needs to reshape the supply chain in the new technology environment: the supply chain to adapt to new technologies is not complete, and it lacks the ability to fully adapt to "interconnection" Technology, the "top-level design" that drives and promotes the high-quality development of the industry, and "specialized, refined, special, and new" enterprises.

2. On the enterprise side: Need for awareness and lack of resources.

Both "Internet+" and "+Internet" are only "parts" of China's intelligent manufacturing rather than the whole connotation. At the enterprise level, "user needs" and "product design, manufacturing, and delivery life cycle", especially the healthy development of the industry Cognitive and understanding abilities are uneven, and the phenomenon of "independent innovation + insufficient resources + repeated investment" is common.

3. Technical level: There are limitations and no system.

"Intelligent manufacturing" requires an open and inclusive systemic solution, and every subdivision field requires collaboration "crossing borders and self-interest" at the technical level. In fact, the objective limitations in the process of enterprise development lead to The formation of the "systematic integration technology" required for "smart manufacturing" will take more time.

Yang Zhengrong, Chairman of Changsha Han Innovation Material Technology Co., Ltd.:

For a long period of time, intelligent manufacturing will be artificial intelligence and human beings working together. The purpose and objective result must be to reduce labor and reduce labor intensity and human judgment errors.

First of all, it is necessary to standardize routine process actions to make automation more mature and perfect, which is the prerequisite for the implementation of intelligent manufacturing.

The perception, representation, and response to problematic scenarios must also be standardized.

Artificial intelligence recognizes and characterizes low-latency call response strategies and issues instructions, adjusts associated equipment and process parameters, and returns to normal. After evaluating the effect automatically or with the participation of engineers, the response strategy is directly or corrected and fed back into the database to make the system more intelligent.

From the above process, it can be judged that in the initial stage, whether it is the improvement of automation or the inability to take into account the abnormality of the original order of magnitude after the reduction of personnel, artificial intelligence perception, reasoning and judgment, selection of process strategies, and post-event evaluation and summary learning all depend on the process under normal circumstances. is standard, abnormal situation characterization and process adjustment strategies are standard.

The parameter library of the process scenario strategy will be larger, but it must be more standard and cannot be vague. This is to artificial intelligence what correct knowledge is to the human brain to make correct reasoning and decision-making.

The effectiveness of the series-parallel action execution of the strategy, in addition to the correct logic and standard process actions, the multi-line process must be smooth, and the process will have more optional paths than under automation conditions, but the actions of each path must be standardized. There is a high degree of agreement between the calculation effect and the execution effect.

Therefore, if our manufacturing enterprises want to implement intelligent manufacturing, they must train a large number of high-quality on-the-spot process engineers, quality engineers and specialized standardization engineers.

Case: Foxconn's sudden emergence and winning of Apple's order was synchronized with the plastic-to-aluminum process of mobile phone cases.

The machining of aluminum parts relies entirely on CNC (numerical control machining center, a typical primary application model of artificial intelligence) whose process complexity far exceeds that of mold injection molding. In 2012, Foxconn’s Zhengzhou base was equipped with more than 4,000 process engineers, and BYD’s Shenzhen finishing factory had less than 100. people. As a result, the good product rate was far lower than that of Foxconn, and the single-piece workbench was far higher than that of Foxconn, so it was forced to sell the Shenzhen factory (and later bought it back).

Dong An, Chairman of Hunan Ruiyika Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.:

The "finishing touch" of China's intelligent manufacturing is the smart sensor. Sensors are an indispensable part of China's smart manufacturing. As China's economic transformation and upgrading enters a critical stage, smart manufacturing has become the main direction of attack, but sensors have become the biggest "short board". The essence of intelligent manufacturing is to solve the uncertainty of complex systems and improve the efficiency of resource allocation by the automatic flow of data. One of the difficulties of big data at present is "acquisition data", which depends on suitable sensors.

Without paying attention to sensors, intelligent manufacturing cannot really be implemented. Sensors are like the facial features and skin of human beings. Without sensors, even if 50 microprocessors are installed in a robot, it cannot be intelligent. "Sensing technology has become one of the important symbols to measure the degree of informatization of a country." In the past, the development of computing and communication technology has solved the problems of information processing and information transmission. The new generation of information technology is mainly sensor technology. Committed to solving information (data) collection. "Without sensors, cloud computing and big data will be 'difficult to cook without rice', the Internet of Things will become 'hollow', and the real economy such as smart manufacturing will become a 'castle in the sky'.

At present, my country does have a strong industrial foundation, but the industry, especially the high-end equipment manufacturing industry, still has a huge gap compared with the international advanced level in the basic field. "Our country has done a lot of application innovation at present, but at the same time it also ignores the development of basic fields. There are pain points in basic materials, components, management concepts, and personnel training, which also includes sensors; next, our country should consolidate the physical industry and accelerate For transformation and upgrading, the government should strengthen the support and guidance of basic research.
