One Note plugin - installation of gem for onenote

I. Introduction

I usually use OneNote to write notes, but OneNote does not have a Markdown editor , so it is very inconvenient to write. After searching and understanding, I found out that gem for OneNote is a plug-in, so I downloaded and installed it, but the plug-in has to be checked manually every time, etc. I closed the add-on next time I opened it and automatically removed the add-on for me. I checked a lot of methods, and reinstalled the add-in several times to no avail, so I wrote it down to record my solution process.

2. The reason for the error

In fact, it is very simple. Many people have installed this plug-in but do not display the label. The high probability is that the version is installed incorrectly , but you will find that Gem for OneNote is in the inactive application add-in in File -> Options -> Add- ins . Then generally we will click Go to add the add-in manually, but you will find the loading behavior of your add-in:Shown as uninstalled, this is very strange, how come the one I just installed will be displayed as uninstalled, although you check it at this time, the label will indeed appear immediately, but when you close OneNote and open it again, it will clear your previous operations, and you will find that the label appears again It's gone, it's too annoying, is it so difficult to add the add-on every time you need to use this plugin?

real reasonIt’s just that the version is installed wrongly . I always thought that my OneNote is the 2016 version. View File->Account->OneNote is indeed 2016 , so I have installed 2016. There is no problem in theory.

3. Solutions

For this reason, I downloaded fixone ( link address ), which is used to fix the problems of OneNote, and then I used it to check my OneNote version, and found that my OneNote is the 2021 version .

Now the truth is revealed, it turns out that I have always installed the wrong version, and then reinstalled the 2021 version, the bug was solved!
You can use MarkDown happily
