1. Preparation before installation
1. Before reinstalling, please be sure to back up important data. The computer is valuable, but the data is priceless - after the important data is backed up, it is no problem to fiddle with the computer casually. The big deal is that the reinstallation is unsuccessful. System software problems can always be solved by trying a few more times, but it is not so easy to restore important data once it is accidentally deleted.
So I suggest everyone to back up important files, photos, and video data in your computer with a USB flash drive or a mobile hard drive (you can also use a network drive). In this way, there will be no worries.
2. Prepare a blank U disk of more than 8G to be used as the system installation disk. It is best to use a brand U disk (purchased from regular channels such as Kingston, SanDisk, and Patriot). Counterfeit U disks may cause inexplicable problems due to quality and compatibility issues. mistake. It is also possible to use a combination of a card reader and a TF card (SD card), but the compatibility will be poor. If the USB flash drive and the computer are relatively new (supporting USB 3.0 and 3.1), the speed of making a system disk and installing the system will be much faster.
2. Make and install U disk

2.2 Make and install U disk

Here, remove the tick of "Use the recommended options for this computer" to choose the version and system of win10. If it is a DIY host, it is recommended to choose the "Professional Edition". If the machine you are reinstalling is a brand machine with the original system, it is recommended to choose the home version (the original system is generally the home version, and the functions are not much different. Choosing the home version can avoid the activation process)
Select the U disk as the installation medium, and click the next step.
At this time, make sure that your U disk has been inserted into the computer. Note that the U disk will be formatted during the process of making the system disk, and all the original files in the U disk will be lost.
The next process does not require us to worry about it at all. The installation tool will automatically download win10 to the computer and write it to the U disk. Finally, clear the download cache by yourself. The whole process time depends on your internet speed and U disk writing speed. Just be patient and wait for it to finish.
However, the tool will automatically close after a while after displaying "U disk is ready". Congratulations, the installation U disk has been created. As long as you keep this U disk, you can install the system by yourself anytime and anywhere in the future.
U disk directory, if you still want to use the U disk. You can copy these files to a folder on your computer for backup. When needed, copy it back to the root directory of the U disk.
2. Reinstall the system
With the installation U disk, we can reinstall the system. The first step of reinstallation is that we need to boot from the U disk (the daily system is booted from the hard disk). The method is to enter the computer's BIOS to modify the relevant startup settings.
Each computer will have its own independent "boot device selection" shortcut key, we only need to press this shortcut key when starting up to select the U disk to boot. The setting of the shortcut keys varies according to the motherboard of the desktop and the brand of the notebook.

First insert the prepared win10 installation U disk, and press F12 when booting up.

The first item "USB HDD" is the U disk, and the second item "ATA HDD0" is the hard disk. Of course, different computers will display slightly differently. Everyone can tell the difference. Here we choose the first U disk to start.
If there are two USB boot options, try to choose the one with the hard disk to enter.
2. Select the installation method

In the next step, we need to select "Custom: Install only window". It is generally not recommended to upgrade the installation. Of course, if you are upgrading from win7 to win10, you can also consider choosing the first item "upgrade installation", the system will keep files, settings and software for you. 3. Partition and format the hard disk
The next step is more critical, please look carefully.
Most reinstalled computers will encounter the situation that the partition already exists . At this time, if you need a pure C drive, just format the original system drive and follow it.
Note that it is necessary to distinguish which is the C drive and then format it. Otherwise, if the format is wrong, all the data on the disk will be lost!
4. Install the system files to the computer
Select the main partition where you need to install the system, and the next step is to continue the installation.
Next, we will enter the actual installation stage of windows, and we will not care about it at this time. Just wait for the installation to complete.
After the installation is complete, it will prompt to restart, then we can unplug the U disk. If there is no accident, the computer will automatically start from the hard disk where the win10 system is installed.
3. System configuration after installation
