BGP peer group

3.2.2 BGP peer group

A peer group (Peer Group) is a collection of peers that share certain policies. When a peer joins a peer group, the peer will get the same configuration as the peer group it is in. When the configuration of the peer group changes, the configuration of the members in the group changes accordingly.

In a large-scale BGP network, there will be many peers, many of which have the same policy, and some commands will be used repeatedly during configuration, and the configuration can be simplified by using peer groups.
