Ali cloud domain name resolution setting custom DNS server

The domain name service purchased by Alibaba Cloud supports resolving custom DNS servers, and CDN request distribution can be realized through the DNS servers configured by oneself.

The detailed setting steps are as follows:

First log in to the Alibaba Cloud platform, then select the domain name in the workbench and enter the domain name service page:

1. Set a custom DNS Host

Click to enter the list of domain names:

Then click Manage to enter the management page of the domain name:

Click the custom DNS Host menu on the left to open the DNS server list (the list is empty if it has not been created before):

Click Create DNS Server to add a server

If your domain name is mydomain.com, filling in dns here means that you have added a DNS server, its external name is dns.mydomain.com, and the IP address of the DNS server is 10.56.254.68.

2. Add resolution record of custom DNS server

Go back to the domain name list page, click the resolve button to enter the domain name resolution page

Click the Add Record button above the list

According to the information filled in the custom DNS Host, add an A record to realize the resolution of dns.mydomain.com.

3. Add other analysis records

After the resolution record of the custom DNS server is added, you can select the NS record type and use the custom DNS service to add any other desired resolution records.

If you want to use a custom DNS server to resolve www.mydomain.com , you can add it in the following format:

Usually www.mydomain.com still uses the A record type, which is resolved by the platform, and individual child.mydomain.com uses the NS record type to be resolved by the custom DNS server.
