Install Java jdk1.8 on Linux (centos7)

Check server system version

cat /etc/centos-release
cat /proc/version

1 Download the jdk installation package

Open the jdk download address , find the 64-bit installation package under linux, and click download (note that this step requires an Oracle account registration and login.

2 Upload the installation package to the server

Here you can use sftp visualization tools (FileZilla, etc.), here you can directly transfer to the specified path/usr/local

3 Unzip

tar -zxvf jdk-8u331-linux-x64.tar.gz

4 Move the decompressed folder to the /usr/local/ directory

mv jdk1.8.0_331 /usr/local/

5 Configure environment variables

First open the configuration file:vim /etc/profile

Add the following at the end of the file:

export JAVA_HOME=/usr/local/jdk1.8.0_331 
export PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH
export CLASSPATH=.:$JAVA_HOME/lib/dt.jar:$JAVA_HOME/lib

6 Make environment variables take effect

source /etc/profile

7 Check the java version number

java -version

java version "1.8.0_331"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_331-b09)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.331-b09, mixed mode)

8 Execute javac, the following indicates that the environment configuration has been configured OK
