Let me talk about the conclusion first
I have encountered two situations
- The view pdf button does not pop up because the original document itself cannot be downloaded. Only WOS (web of science) that shows open access will have the view pdf button.
However, although some of them display open access, they do not view the pdf, and I don't know what's going on. Anyway, most of the open access has a view pdf button, which can be downloaded. It is definitely impossible to download if it is not open access.
Now you can try again, try to click on the one with open access, and there should be a view pdf button. - Don't connect to the school's VPN to access WOS, there is no view pdf button if you connect to the school's VPN. As shown below.
You must remember that if you want to use the view pdf button of endnote click, you can directly visit the WOS website, and do not use the school’s VPN to access.
Install endnote click
Just search directly in the edge extension, just click Get and install.
Then there are the following extensions.
easy to use
Direct access to WOS, don't hang up the school's VPN .
Just search for a keyword such as deep learning.
Click the endnote click extension button, it will display which articles can be downloaded, and you can choose to download in batches.
In fact, I feel that most of them don't want the result of this batch download, maybe they want to see the view pdf button on my computer, hahahahahaha. Personal guesswork.
The pop-up pdf view button and the situation after clicking are as follows:
click to open an open access article;
then the view pdf button will pop up in the lower left corner, it may take a few seconds to pop up;
click the view pdf button, it may also take a few seconds The article will be refreshed, as shown below.
On the left is some other information such as downloading, sharing, exporting to endnote, etc. You can click to see it.
Well, this blog is over here, if there is anything wrong, please correct me.
Thank you all for watching!
