It was revealed at the conference that Baidu Smart Cloud will soon open Wenxin Yiyan API interface call service to enterprise customers, and appointments are now officially open.

The first category is a new cloud computing company whose mainstream business model has changed from IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) to MaaS (Model as a Service). Wenxin's words will fundamentally change the rules of the game in the cloud computing industry. In the past, enterprises chose cloud vendors more based on basic cloud services such as computing power and storage. In the future, more will depend on whether the framework is good, whether the model is good or not, and the synergy among the four layers of model, framework, chip, and application.
"Wenxin Yiyan will provide external services through Baidu Smart Cloud to help enterprises build their own models and applications. The efficiency of key areas such as agriculture, industry, finance, education, medical care, transportation, and energy will be greatly improved. The industry is rapidly forming a new industrial space, helping the realization of digital China." Robin Li said.
The second category is companies that fine-tune industry models. This is the middle layer between the general large-scale model and enterprises. They have industry know-how and the ability to call general large-scale models to provide solutions for industry customers. At present, Baidu Wenxin large model has released more than 10 industry large models in the fields of electric power, finance, and media.
The third category is companies that develop applications based on large model bases, that is, application service providers. Robin Li believes that future new giants may appear in scenarios such as text generation, image generation, audio generation, video generation, digital human, and 3D.
Li Yanhong said that AI's disruptive changes to all walks of life have just begun. He suggested that entrepreneurs and enterprises do not need to start from scratch with basic large models such as ChatGPT and Wenxinyiyan. The real opportunity is to preemptively develop important application services based on general large language models.
