The content of the appearance class refers to fill and stroke, including gradient fill and gradient stroke.
filling
Fill
blend mode
Blending Mode
The default is "normal", i.e. no blending.
See:
Ae : Hybrid Mode
synthesis
Composite
--Below the previous one in the same group
Below Previous in Same Group
--On top of the previous one in the same group
Above Previous in Same Group
Indicates whether this fill should be filled above or below the above "Fill" (same group), and the same goes for "Stroke".
fill rule
Fill Rule
Specifies the rules for filling when multiple paths intersect.
Includes: Non-Zero Winding (default) and Even-Odd.
color
Color
Specifies the color of the fill.
Opacity
Opacity
Specifies the opacity of the fill.
stroke
Stroke
blend mode
Blending Mode
The default is "normal", i.e. no blending.
synthesis
Composite
See related instructions in "Filling".
color
Color
Specifies the color of the stroked line.
Opacity
Opacity
Specifies the opacity of the stroked line.
stroke width
Stroke Width
Sets the width of the stroked line.
For example, if the stroke width is set to 10 pixels, it will expand 5 pixels from the center of the path,
line endpoint
Line Cap
There are three types of stroke endpoints: Butt Cap (default), Round Cap, and Projecting Cap.
line connection
Line Join
It is used to set the connection mode of the line segment at the turning point, which is divided into three types: Miter Join (default), Round Join and Bevel Join.
corner limit
Miter Limit
Option for Miter Join. Used to control changing from Miter Join to Bevel Join when appropriate, for example, when the Angle limit is 1.
dotted line
Dashes
You can set the stroke to dashed by clicking the "+" button.
--dotted line
Dash
unit length.
--gap
Gap
The size of the unit gap.
--offset
Offset
Used to control the position of the dashed line.
Click the "+" button up to six times to get three combinations of dashed lines with different lengths and gaps.
Taper
Taper
Used to gradually adjust the width of the stroke along the direction of the path.
-- length unit
Length Units
Include: percentage (default) and pixel units.
-- start/end length
Start/End Length
Controls how long to taper along the start or end of the stroke.
-- start/end width
Start/End Width
Controls the thickness of the taper along the start or end of the stroke.
-- start/end ease
Start/End Ease
Controls the roundness of the taper along the start or end of the stroke.
hint:
The path direction can be reversed using the two buttons to the right of the path name.
waveform
Wave
Adds a wave effect to strokes.
--quantity
Amount
Controls the intensity of the waves added to the stroke.
The smaller the value, the smaller the amplitude, and the larger the value, the greater the amplitude.
--unit
Units
Including: Pixels (default) and Cycles two units.
For closed paths, Period can be used to maintain edge continuity.
--wavelength
Wavelength
Controls the spacing between waveforms.
The smaller the value, the sparser the waveform, the larger the value, the denser the waveform.
If you select "Cycle" for "Unit", here is "Ring" Cycles.
--phase
Phase
Used to offset the waveform along the path, allowing the waveform to move across the length of the path.
gradient fill
Gradient Fill
The property of the same name is the same as in "fill".
type
Type
Including: Linear and Radial.
start point/end point
Start/End Point
The starting and ending positions of the gradient.
hint:
Can be adjusted directly on the viewer using the selection tool.
Highlight length
Highlight Length
Highlight Angle
Highlight Angle
Adjusts the length and angle of highlights when using radial gradients.
color
Colors
Click Edit Gradient to set the gradient color.
gradient stroke
Gradient Stroke
The property of the same name is the same as in Stroke or Gradient Fill.
