Kettle is a foreign open source ETL tool, written in pure java, data extraction, efficient and stable data migration tool. There are two script files in Kettle, transformation and job. Transformation completes the basic transformation of data, and job completes the control of the entire workflow. Easy to use and low learning cost.

3. Software acquisition
Download from the official website http://kettle.pentaho.com/, the software is a green version, after decompression, click Spoon.bat to run, it needs JRE environment support. (The 4.2.0 stable version example is used in this document)
4. Main operating area
The ribbon on the left side of Kettle has two panels, the Main Object Tree and the Core Objects. Among them, the "core object" is more commonly used. On the right is the property editing area of the object. Objects on the left can be dragged to the editing area on the right. Press the keyboard shift key at the same time to draw a line on the two objects to connect the two objects. Multiple objects are connected to form a transformation.
