You can deploy your Apache Geode configuration files in the system directory structure or as jar files. It's up to you how to deploy your configuration files, and set them accordingly.
Note: If you are using the Cluster Configuration Service to create and manage your Apache Geode cluster configuration, the steps described in this section are not necessary because Geode automatically manages the distribution of these configuration files and jar files. See the Cluster Configuration Service Overview.
You can use the procedures described in this section to deploy member-specific configuration in situations where you do not want to use the cluster service configuration.
