Migration of FSG reports between two EBS environments

This article introduces the migration of FSG reports between two EBS environments , including the migration of reports, column sets, and rowsets.

Prerequisite: The network must communicate with each other. If you can't access each other, don't read the following content.

1. Establish a database link ( DBLINK )      

Under General Ledger Super User: Settings -> System -> Database Links

    


Database name: give a meaningful name, usually source_to_target

Connection string:

(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)

(HOST= source database address )(PORT= port ))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME= source database name )))

Domain name: any

APPS username: The source database APPS account password.

2.     Migration data:

    


Component Type:



 

Component name: You can specify specific content according to the component type.

Source database chart of accounts: Select according to the actual situation. General selection: Accounting Flexfield.

Target database chart of accounts: Select according to the actual situation. General selection: Accounting Flexfield.

Source database: The database link configured in step 1 .

 

3.        After the request is completed, the content of the specified transplant will be settled in your target database obediently. You're done!
