This test environment: host: win7 64, virtual machine: debian6
1. VMware click Edit→Virtual Network Editor (N)→Restore default settings (due to some misoperations done before)
At this point, VMware will virtualize 2 virtual network cards for the host:
The default VMnet1 corresponds to hostonly mode, and VMnet8 corresponds to NAT mode
It can be seen that the ip of VMnet1 is 192.168.146.0 (it will not be modified)
2. Modify the virtual machine network adapter
point settings
2. Modify the virtual machine ip at this time
Make sure to be on the same network segment as VMnet1
At this point, use the host to ping the eth0 of the virtual machine
Note that the host is using the VMnet1 virtual network card at this time
3. If you need this virtual machine to be able to access the Internet, directly configure a network card other than eth0 to automatically obtain ip. I set eth1 here.
