A transaction is a set of atomic SQL queries, the statements within a thing, either all execute successfully or all fail.
It must have the following characteristics:
1. Atomicity: either all succeed or all fail
2. Consistency: all The statement is a whole, either fully executed or not executed
3. Isolation: The modifications made by one transaction are invisible to other transactions until they are finally committed
4. Persistence: The modifications made after the transaction is committed will be Permanently save to the database
