Client-side RMS decryption: This service is temporarily unavailable. Please confirm that this server is connected. . .

When testing ADRMS, the client setting permission is prompted error: "This service is temporarily unavailable, please confirm that you have connected to this server", the environment is as follows

1. The client does not join the domain environment where ADRMS is located

2. The registry of the client has been imported successfully, and the RMS client has been installed correctly

3. When the above two points are normal, when using the rights management service of ADRMS, it will prompt "This service is temporarily unavailable. Please confirm that you have connected to this server..."

Solution:

1. The reason for this problem:

1. When deploying ADRMS, the authentication method of https (SSL) is used

2. When the client requests RMS protection, it will go to the server to apply for CLC, and the CLC at this time is issued together with the server certificate of ADRMS. In a non-domain environment, the internal server certificate is not trusted.

Second, the solution:

Open IE's "Internet Options", navigate to the Advanced tab, and then follow the steps below to uncheck "Check for server certificate revocation*", and the problem can be solved.
