Installing fonts on Linux

Install Arial on Linux
1. Download or directly copy the Arial font from Windows (C:\Windows\Fonts\Arial)
2. Create a directory under /usr/share/fonts/, such as arial
3. Put the font file ARIAL.TTF , ARIALBI.TTF, ARIALN.TTF, ARIALNBI.TTF, ARIBLK.TTF, ARIALBD.TTF, ARIALI.TTF, ARIALNB.TTF, ARIALNI.TTF in /usr/share/fonts/arial/
4. # cd /usr /share/fonts/arial
# mkfontscale
# mkfontdir
# fc-cache

The above is to install the Arial font in the linux system
fc-list | grep Arial
