Description of the problem: When I first joined the company, the SVN client was downloaded from the official website when the environment was installed. The version is 1.9.4, and the eclipse version is the same as that used by colleagues, 4.2 (luna). Due to personal habits, svn plugins generally prefer compressed versions. This advantage finds faster. And it is Chinese, and the installation is also very convenient. Habitually used the version 1.8.X version that I usually use. When checking out the project, it is checked out in eclipse. The problem came out. After the checkout, the project in the workspace is not under version control. Put the project under the workspace into version control, and then import the project in eclipse. The project is not under version control.
Cause of the problem: I started to guess that it may be because my eclipse has two svn plug-ins, because when installing the site version of the svn plug-in, there is already an svn plug-in, which is the kind that is installed online. I re-downloaded a clean eclipse and reopened a workspace and found that it didn't work either. When I saw the version number of the svn client, I was confused. Is it because of version incompatibility.
Problem solving: I downloaded the latest site version from the Internet, copied it in, and nothing happened. The projects in the workspace and eclipse were all under version control. After installing the plug-in, open eclipse and there will be a prompt box about the svn plug-in. Just click OK. I didn't study what it was, and I didn't take any screenshots.
Summary of the problem: The problem with the above reasons is because of incompatible version numbers. At least not too much difference.
