Two ways to add Fragment to activity

Method 1: xml page: there is a "fragment" tag in it

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
              xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
              android:layout_width="match_parent"
              android:layout_height="match_parent"
              android:orientation="vertical">

    <include
        android:id="@+id/subject_title"
        layout="@layout/custom_title_style1"/>

    <TextView
        android:id="@+id/txtMsg"
        android:layout_width="match_parent"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:layout_weight="1"
        android:background="#eeeeeeee"
        android:gravity="center"
        android:padding="10dp"
        android:text=""
        android:textSize="@dimen/txt_xsmall_height"/>

    <fragment
        android:id="@+id/fragment_list_subject_setrequire"
        android:name="com.ListSubjectSetRequireFragment"
        android:layout_width="wrap_content"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:layout_weight="50"
        tools:layout="@layout/list_fragment"/>

    <ImageButton
        android:id="@+id/btnOk"
        android:layout_width="wrap_content"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:layout_gravity="center"
        android:layout_margin="20dp"
        android:layout_weight="1"
        android:background="@drawable/btn_ok1"/>
</LinearLayout>

 Activity:

  FragmentManager fm = getSupportFragmentManager();
  mListFragment = (ListFragment)fm.findFragmentById(R.id.fragment_list_subject_setrequire);
  mListFragment.refreshList(this,mList);

Method 2: xml page: there is no "fragment" tag in it, but the " LinearLayout " tag is used

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
              xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
              android:layout_width="match_parent"
              android:layout_height="match_parent"
              android:orientation="vertical">

    <include
        android:id="@+id/subject_title"
        layout="@layout/custom_title_style1"/>

    <TextView
        android:id="@+id/txtMsg"
        android:layout_width="match_parent"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:layout_weight="1"
        android:background="#eeeeeeee"
        android:gravity="center"
        android:padding="10dp"
        android:text=""
        android:textSize="@dimen/txt_xsmall_height"/>

    <LinearLayout
        android:id="@+id/fragment_container"
        android:layout_width="match_parent"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:layout_weight="50"
        android:background="#123456"
        android:orientation="horizontal">
    </LinearLayout>

    <ImageButton
        android:id="@+id/btnOk"
        android:layout_width="wrap_content"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:layout_gravity="center"
        android:layout_margin="20dp"
        android:layout_weight="1"
        android:background="@drawable/btn_ok1"/>
</LinearLayout>

  Activity:

  FragmentManager fm = getSupportFragmentManager();
        mListFragment = new ListFragment ();
        mListFragment.refreshList(this,mList);
        FragmentTransaction transaction = fm.beginTransaction();
        transaction.add(R.id.fragment_container, mListFragment);
        transaction.addToBackStack("fragment_list_subject_setshare");
        transaction.commit();
