Chromium Google's open source browser will no longer support the Netscape browser plug-in API, and Adobe's Flash will no longer work. However, users can use Pepper Flash Player, a plug-in for Google Chrome that replaces Adobe Flash.
Installation method
Ubuntu 14.04 and derivatives user command:
Since Chromium and Pepper Flash Player are in the default library, installation is very easy. Open a terminal and enter the following command:
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install chromium-browser sudo apt-get install pepperflashplugin-nonfree sudo update-pepperflashplugin-nonfree --install
Uninstall command:
sudo apt-get remove chromium-browser pepperflashplugin-nonfree
Other ubuntu users and derivatives users:
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install chromium-browser sudo add-apt-repository ppa:skunk/pepper-flash sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install pepflashplugin-installer sudo update-pepperflashplugin-nonfree --install
Uninstall command:
sudo apt-get remove chromium-browser pepflashplugin-installer
