GeoServer learning (2) postGis installation, configuration and data import

1. Postgresql must be installed
2. Install the PostGis space plugin

Note: this must be selected
It is best to choose the recommended directory for the first two steps, otherwise the installation will fail.

3. Open the management software that comes with the database

4. After the software is opened, double-click the connection under the server


5. Enter the password (this password is the password you wrote when you installed the first software)


6. Create a new database

We enter the database name and choose an owner

Template selection postgis_23_sample Before this, LQ said that this template should be closed.
Tablespace selection pg_default

7. Import .shp using Post Gis plugin
7.1. Enter the insert key import interface

7.2 Click Add File to import the .shp file



Note: The .shp file path cannot contain Chinese,
7.3 Click Import to import and see if the log is successful.

If the import fails, you have to turn on validation with ArcMap
